The Community
Development Management System consists of three primary functions:
Administrative
Supports contract administration by the grant-making agency. It allows
grant-making agencies to organize its community development effort in a
single (virtual) location, and it then facilitates sub-grantee reporting on
program outcomes and program management efforts.
This function allows the grant-maker to enter basic contract information
into CDMS, which then automatically sets up the reporting links to the
implementing agency.
Agency User
Allows implementing agencies to view the major terms of the contract
on-line, enter program performance data into a pre-set reporting form, and
view program results through the course of the contract.
Reporting
Allows the grant-making agency to report on program outputs at a variety of
levels, over any period of time specified in the data query.
The entire system is
integrated with an email communication portal and calendar. Through this
system, funders and contract agencies are able to report and communicate on
the status of contract performance via the web.
The funder is able to send and receive notices and inquiries as to better
monitor and track program performance throughout the agency’s contract term.
This system is designed to provide the means for two-way communication
between agencies and the funder at any time during the contract term.
Agencies can ask questions, request assistance, complete and submit reports,
respond to information requests, etc. The funder can respond to agency
inquiries, make information requests, issue notices, and provide feedback
reports.
